This site is an experiment in bringing together unionists to strengthen our collective knowledge and skills in communication strategies and design. It’s about showing the best campaigns, design, videos, web, and communications from unions worldwide.
The union movement runs campaigns and communicates with millions of members every day. We are hoping we can start conversations between people responsible for union communications for different unions worldwide, and that talking and sharing ideas will improve the quality of union communications.

We encourage you to send us links, post on the facebook page or chat to us on twitter. The wider the discussion about union communications the better in our opinion.
Who are we?
Creative Unions was started by Atosha McCaw and Alex White, two campaigns and communications officers at the National Tertiary Education Union in Australia. We started this project to strengthen and build on the union movement’s knowledge and skills of campaigning, communication and design.
A large part of our day to day jobs is running campaigns, communicating with members and the community, and designing a range of material both online and physical.
Creative Unions is a not-for-profit social venture in strengthening trade union communications and design, we are not affiliated with the NTEU in any way.
Hi Guys, The NSW Teachers Federation has launched its new drupal based website .Lots more emphasis on Video .Still bedding the site in but have had good feedback .We have employed a new digitalmedia sub-editor to work with our team, taking the team to four individuals. Jason has made some of the Unions protest even fun and interesting .
